Invitation: If you are a woman engaged in Christian ministry please come and join our conversation.
The Women in Ministry in Ireland Project researches the experience of women engaged in Christian ministry as their main life choice, across the Christian churches and in all corners of Ireland. This may be in ordained ministry; chaplaincy work; spiritual accompaniment; education; pastoral care or a myriad of other areas.
The first stage of this project was a questionnaire and a series of interviews leading to a report which can be found here or on the Women in Ministry Facebook page.
The second phase is a gathering of women in ministry when women will meet and reflect on the report and any issues which arise from it. There will also be time for prayer, social time, and enjoyment of the beautiful surroundings at Mount St. Anne’s.
· You do not need to have participated in the earlier stage of the project.
· There is no cost involved apart from your transport. (I will be able to put people in the same area in touch with one another if you would like to share transport.)
· Places are limited and booking is essential.
The event will take begin at 2.00 p.m. on March 12th 2018 and conclude at 3.30 p.m. on March 13th. The location will be Mount St Anne’s Retreat Centre, Killenard, Co Laois (just off the M8). Mount St Anne’s Website.
