‘Time of Creation’
From the 1st of September 2008 to the 4th October 2008, Churches Together in Britain and Ireland have prepared a range of free downloadable resources for local faith communities to develop this European ecumenical initiative (an outcome from the Sibiu Assembly 2007) using the theme ‘Hope for Creation: a time for Worship and Creation’. These will include a 5 week framework of readings, liturgies and sermon ideas, ideas for group study and action as well as children and all-age resources. Further details: www.ctbi.org.uk

Certificate in Theology in Dromantine, Newry
An opportunity to learn and study together Mater Dei Institute, a College of Dublin City University in conjunction with Edgehill Theological College (Methodist) Belfast and the Society of African Missions (SMA) is offering a new inter-church Certificate in Theology at the Dromantine Conference Centre, Newry, Co Down. This three-year part-time course has 12 modules which will be offered on Monday evenings (7.30-9.30 pm) between September and April each year. These will begin on September 15th.
