This event will give clergy an opportunity to discuss and find ways to address the legacy of the ‘Troubles’, for themselves and their parishioners.
Professor Brandon Hamber (International Conflict Research Institute), Dr Gladys Ganiel (Irish School of Ecumenics) and Professor Peter McBride (Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health) will be keynote speakers at an event which will give clergy an opportunity to discuss and find ways to address the legacy of the ‘Troubles’, for themselves and their parishioners.
Other speakers will include Rev Dr David Clements, and Father Stephen Kearney who will talk about their experiences of ministering to people affected by violent conflict.
This event has been organised by a cross–community group of clergy from the Coalisland area in partnership with the Irish Churches Peace Project and the Councils of Dungannon & South Tyrone, Cookstown and Magherafelt.
